Talent & Culture Specialist

About the role

Make BlackRevo a place people want to join and want to stay. You plan our outings, sports, team building and trips, welcome every new joiner, check in with the team one to one, and find the people we hire next, on whichever platform they are. Our in-house HR system and AI tools handle the paperwork, so your time goes to people: behind and in front of the camera at our events and booths, in front of the room at orientation, and the first person the team talks to. Some of this is weekly, some a few times a year. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

What you'll do

1. Culture & Events

• Plan and deliver outings, team-building and trips: budget, booking, on-the-day event
• Plan and run celebrations, awards and recognition
• Embed the core values (Keep your word; Dare to think, dare to play; Growth and Breakthrough) through events and onboarding
• Shape the office environment with facilities or office admin support

2. People & Growth

• Onboard new joiners: first-day setup, orientation, Lumen walkthrough
• Run 30/60/90-day check-ins and one-to-ones with each team member; flag early signs of someone struggling
• Run exit conversations and handover checklists
• Organise training and learning and development
• Maintain HR policies and handbooks; keep them compliant with Malaysian employment law and PDPA

3. Employer Brand & Content

• Photograph and film events and office life; short edits for team and hiring posts
• Represent BlackRevo at career fairs and industry events
• Collaborate with Marketing to increase publicity of BlackRevo

4. Systems & Performance

• Track department KPIs with each Head of Department. HODs own their work KPIs.
• Help the team get the most from Lumen and AI tools
• Own the HR-side requirements for Lumen automation. Propose improvement.
• Pass team questions and ideas to management

5. Hiring

• Source candidates across JobStreet, Facebook, Xiaohongshu and other channels by role
• Write job ads, screen applicants, schedule interviews
• Keep every candidate's status current in Lumen

What we're looking for

• Outgoing and energetic: you enjoy bringing people together and being in front of a group
• Uses technology and AI tools such as ChatGPT as a matter of course, and is quick to learn new systems
• Organised, and follows through on dates, budgets and bookings
• Warm and easy to talk to, and discreet with what people tell you
• Comfortable in front of a camera and a room
• Clear writing and speaking in English
• Fresh graduates and non-degree holders are welcome to apply
• Added advantage: experience organising events, student societies or recruitment
• Added advantage: speak and write Mandarin
