On 19 December 2025 the 100 MIYE trophy stood on table 41 at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur. Here is what the award is, what BlackRevo was recognised for, and what it means for the people who work here.
On Friday 19 December 2025, BlackRevo was named one of The 100 Most Influential Young Entrepreneurs of 2025 at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur. The award, known as 100 MIYE, is run by Entrepreneur Insight magazine and picked 100 recipients from more than 1,300 nominations in its tenth year. I went up to collect it.

What the 100 MIYE award is
Entrepreneur Insight, a business magazine published by Armani Media Group Berhad, has run The 100 Most Influential Young Entrepreneurs for a decade. Each year it takes nominations from across Malaysia and selects 100 recipients. In 2025 there were more than 1,300 nominations, so roughly one in thirteen made the list. The organising committee's chairman, Datuk KK Chua, framed the year's theme, "Reimagine", as preparing for stronger ideas and new opportunities rather than polishing what already exists (Bernama). The ceremony marked the award's tenth anniversary.
How a company our size ended up on the list
BlackRevo is a digital growth partner in Kota Damansara: SEO, digital marketing and the web systems behind them, with a team of between ten and twenty people. We are not the biggest name in the room at an event like this, and that is the point of the award. It looks at what a young company has changed, not how large it is.
The nomination described what we built in 2025. On the client side, an SEO and digital marketing practice that gets businesses found on search and holds them there. On the inside, a company that digitalised its own operations: an HR and hiring system built in-house, AI in the daily work of every role, and the efficiency that comes from a small team spending its time on clients instead of paperwork. It also described the way we work, which we call our morality rather than a mission: user-centred and team-driven, and three commitments we hire on. Keep your word. Dare to think, dare to play. Growth and Breakthrough.
Entrepreneur Insight put it its own way when it congratulated us in February 2026: bold leadership, creativity and an entrepreneurial mindset, and a company built on quality, modern thinking and continuous growth.
What it means for the people who work here
Three things, in the order I would tell a candidate.
It is a team award with one name on it. The trophy has my name on it because the category is entrepreneurs. The work it recognises was done by the whole team. Every client result in 2025 went through their hands.
It raises the bar, not the ceiling. Our values are written on the careers page: Keep your word; Dare to think, dare to play; Growth and Breakthrough. An award is a check that we are living them, not a reason to relax. The 2026 nominations opened the same week, which is a useful reminder that the list resets every year.
It tells you what kind of place this is. Small, young and expected to keep growing. If you join us at the start of your career, you will be doing real client work early, with AI tools and our own HR system taking the paperwork off you, and you will be measured on what you change. That suits some people very well.
